Psychometric Testing
Aptitude tests
We provide computerized psychometric tests with an international invigilator that are accredited internationally. Our tests are standardized psychological measurements of knowledge, abilities, attitudes or personality traits.
Psychometric tests have been extensively used in commercial, academic and educational settings for centuries and their popularity has continued to increase. Psychometric tests work by recording a candidate’s responses to a set of questions, designed to measure a specific psychological construct, such as cognitive ability or personality. Psychometric tests are highly effective predictors of job performance in any role or selection process.

Costs
The cost of carrying out the psychometric test per candidate depends on the type of test being offered, we advise that candidates seeking to sit for these tests should send an inquiry to admin@palgnet.com
Certificates
This is known as the test report which is submitted 30mins upon completion of the test. A link to the full report is submitted to you upon completion and this is provided to your employer.
Results
The psychometric test is timed and must be done online. Being an online test, you will be issued with a response of the test results 30 minutes after completion of the test.
An aptitude test is an assessment used to determine a candidate’s cognitive ability or personality. They are extremely common in job assessments as they are used to predict the likelihood of a candidate’s success in a job role, whilst eliminating any bias through its standardized administration.
Are aptitude tests hard?
While aptitude tests are not inherently difficult, several factors can make them feel challenging. Tight time limits put pressure on your critical thinking skills, and the unfamiliar format can throw you off if you haven’t encountered it before. Additionally, the tests assess specific areas like reasoning or numerical ability, where individual strengths vary. What are the different types of aptitude test?
Aptitude tests come in many different forms due to the range of skills required for different roles. They fall into two categories: verbal and non-verbal. Common non-verbal tests such as numerical reasoning or inductive reasoning, assess your ability to manage numerical data, patterns and problem-solving. Verbal tests such as verbal reasoning, comprehension and situational judgement tests are focused on your ability to analyse verbal data and make astute decisions.
